About Industrial Technology at MGHS
Industrial Technology at Stage 6 is designed to develop in students a knowledge and understanding of the Timber Products and Furniture industry and its related technologies with an emphasis on design, management and production through practical applications. All students complete a major project in the Timber Products and Furniture industries which takes up the majority of the HSC Year. Industrial Technology has a fine reputation at the school and within the district as students achieve outstanding results. In terms of HSC averages and value added results Industrial Technology often out performs against most subjects within the school, which is testimony of the quality of the teaching involved. |
