About Sport at MGHS

Sport runs at MGHS every Tuesday afternoon for students in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10. It is very important that students understand what is required of them when participating in sport. All students should make themselves familiar with the 2008 Sport Guidelines.

CongratulatSee full size imageions to all our swimmers who competed at the zone carnival on Tuesday 17th February. Maitland Grossmann High won the overall carnival with 233 points and Rutherford High second on 95 points. Well done on an amazing team effort.

Swimmers will be notified shortly if they were successful in gaining selection to the regional carnival. Selection is based on times set at the zone carnival. The regional carnival will be held again at Maitland Pool on Tuesday the 3rd March 2009. Again, congratulations.

A thankyou to all the "Grossmann parents" who came along and helped support or officiate.

NOTE:  Swimmers not available to attend the State Championships (5 - 7 April) should withdraw at the Regional Trials. Gaining selection and not attending State can result in a 12 month ban from CHS sports.
