About Technology at MGHS Technology (Mandatory) is studied by all students in Years 7 and 8. The course enables students to develop skills in designing, producing and evaluating products to satisfy an identified need. Each semester students study a different unit of work allowing them to experience current technologies in Textiles, Food, Information and Graphics. Students produce a project and folio for each unit of work following the Design Process. This gives students an understanding of the factors that contribute to successful design and production.
