You are here: Home This very special program, linking Yr 10 student volunteers with residents of Benhome and Largs Lodge, is celebrating its tenth year. Year 10 students are already asking when the program will begin.Our visits to the aged care facilities will begin in Semester 2 and conclude with our annual Seniors Concert and morning tea. Linking students to the residents provides value and knowledge to both residents and students alike, and encourages a sense of community. The students learn many history lessons and life lessons from their residents. Residents feel valued and enjoy the interaction with the younger generation. Mrs Osborne and Mrs Goward look forward to coordinating this program again this year. |
